SUCH a beautiful spot. Went with a group of ladies to escape the hustle and bustle of life and it was PERFECT!! Very secluded and serene. The home itself is gorgeous!!! Lots of stairs so you will get your workout in. We ended up bringing an air mattress because a few of the rooms were double beds so it made it more comfortable for everyone to have more space. But the couch turns into a bed as well. Matthew was very responsive, when something was missing he immediately took action and we got everything we needed quickly. Heads up to anyone staying though, the driveway is very steep and can be challenging to maneuver a larger car/truck etc. Also Ubers won't pick you up from his place (but will drop you off if coming from downtown and ubers will do carrier service to it though). We called a cab company to leave and they picked us up though. Cell service is a little more sparse (especially on the private roads) but luckily he has wifi. Would 1000% book again! Thanks Matthew!

The house is a dream! The location is absolutely priceless! And the decor is so tasteful! We were picked up by a water taxi and went on a tour. It was fantastic!
I can’t even explain how GORGEOUS this place was!! Somehow even more beautiful than the photos. The location, right on the lake, with the most incredible balcony views, were magical. The interior was modern, clean and still so charming and cozy. My family and I had the BEST time sharing this wonderful space!!
Matthew is very responsive and helpful. His property at Sunshine Falls is a hidden gem, with picture-perfect scenic views, fabulous sea access, very nice relaxation areas and tasteful inner decoratation. If you want a trip to Paradise (in late summer), give this guy a call.
This location is absolute breathtaking. Definitely a journey to get from the main road to the house but you can't beat the secluded peaceful feeling of being out in the woods like that. Overall it was a great experience to stay here. Thank you Matthew!

By road. The house is reached by a private road through the forest, about seven minutes from the main road, and the driveway is very steep. Large vans and catering trucks aren’t recommended. There are a lot of stairs between levels.

Rideshare drop-offs from downtown work, but guests report that Uber drivers won’t reliably pick up at the house. For departures, book a local taxi company in advance.

Cell coverage is spotty on the forest road in, but it works at the house on the water, and the house has Wi-Fi.

Yes. It is a waterfront property with a private dock and boat slip. Past guests have arrived by water taxi and rented kayaks in Deep Cove to paddle from the dock.
